Waitlist sign-up

When you join the waitlist on buildambition.com, we collect your email address and your answers to three questions: what you want to accomplish, why it matters to you, and what's in the way. We use them to contact you about AMBITIONS and to understand what people want from it. We keep them until you ask us to delete them, which you can do anytime by emailing us. We don't sell them, and we don't send your answers to Meta, TikTok or PostHog.

We don't intentionally collect health information. Please don't enter it.

Your Ambition Map

After you join, we make you an Ambition Map from your answers at a private link. Anyone with your map link can open it, so share it only with people you trust. You can make a new link (the old one stops working) or delete your map from the bottom of the map page. When you connect your AI, your answers go to that AI provider under its own terms.

Connecting your AI

If you add the AMBITIONS connector (mcp.buildambition.com/mcp) to an AI app such as Claude, you sign in to the connector with your email. When that email matches the one you joined with, the connector receives your map: your three answers, your "I am" line and an internal map id. It never receives your map link, phone number, referral details or ad data. Once you connect, your answers go to that AI provider under its own terms and privacy policy (for Claude, Anthropic's). If you delete your map, we tell the connector to remove the answers it brought over. To clear what the AI app itself has kept, disconnect AMBITIONS in that app or use its own delete options. We keep a note of which page you joined from and whether you connected, to see which pages work; it isn't shared with ad platforms.

Speaking your answers

On the waitlist you can tap the mic and speak an answer instead of typing it. Speech is turned into text by your browser or phone, and we only keep the text. Depending on your browser, its own speech service (such as Apple's or Google's) may process the audio under its own privacy policy. Our code never records or uploads audio.

Advertising and measurement

When you visit buildambition.com, we use the Meta Pixel, the TikTok Pixel and PostHog to see which ads and links bring people to the site and whether they join the waitlist. These tools may set cookies and receive your IP address, browser and device details, the pages you visit, and the fact that you joined. We don't send them your answers to the waitlist questions. Meta and TikTok may use this data under their own privacy policies, including to measure and improve ads. You can limit ad tracking in your browser settings, through Meta's and TikTok's ad preferences, or at optout.aboutads.info. The AMBITIONS iOS app doesn't use these ad pixels or track you across other companies' apps or websites.

On other pages of buildambition.com (not the waitlist or this policy), we also use the LinkedIn Insight Tag to see which LinkedIn ads bring people to the site. It may set cookies and receive the same kind of details as the tools above, and LinkedIn may use them under its own privacy policy. You can limit this in LinkedIn's ad settings.

What we collect

Your name, ambition interview answers, phone number, and email address, used to create and deliver your custom visualizations and manage your account. Payments are processed by Stripe; we never see or store your card details.

Text messages

By providing your phone number, you consent to receive text messages from AMBITIONS: delivery of your visualization link, account sign-in codes, and account notices. Message frequency varies (typically 1–2 messages per purchase). Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out at any time, or HELP for help. Consent to receive texts is not a condition of any purchase beyond delivery of the product you ordered.

We do not share, sell, or provide your mobile phone number, opt-in data, or messaging consent data to third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent are used only to deliver the messages described above via our text delivery provider.

How your data is used

Interview answers are used solely to generate your visualization audio. We do not sell or share your personal information with third parties for marketing. Service providers we rely on: Stripe (payments), Clerk (sign-in), Twilio (text delivery), Resend (email delivery), Anthropic (script writing), ElevenLabs (voice), Vercel and Convex (hosting).
